A wholesome diet and healthy life style means that these birds are slow growing building taste, flavour and succulence in a natural way. These Turkeys are not given any chemical additives, growth supplement or hormones. During their first few weeks they are housed in modern sheds, in small groups under heaters and receive constant attention. Later they are moved to large open sided pole barns with straw bedding and during the day they are free to roam around a 4-acre paddock. With the help of trusty sheepdog Jess they are brought inside each evening to protect them from Mr Fox!
