Our Beef is a premium quality range of Scotch beef that has enjoyed a traditional lifestyle and wholesome diet. These cattle are bred, raised and selected to produce the finest flavour.
Our supplier is MacDuff Beef a family business for four generations based in Scotland.
We are supplied direct from Sutton Hoo, in Suffolk. It is a family farm producing real free-range chickens in the traditional way – producing the best birds for customers but using the highest welfare standards. These slow growing birds enjoy a wholesome additive free diet resulting in very tasty eating.
To bring you the best Lamb at all times of year we use a specialist Lamb supplier in London’s Smithfield Market. Lamb quality from different farms and producers varies throughout the year depending on regional conditions that effect the grass on which the animals feed. The Lamb on our counter will always be the best available.
We cure our own Gammon here in Crouch End using the best ingredients sourced from Blythburgh Free Range Pork in Suffolk. Their animals enjoy a very natural lifestyle and diet and as a result they produce a better taste . We also offer a cold smoked version for extra depth and richness.
